Riverside Family Dental was established in September 2021 when Dr. Morrison purchased the practice of Dr. Terry Thompson. A Plymouth native, Dr. Thompson retired after 34 successful years of serving Eastern North Carolina. Dr. Thompson's long time team members, Tracie, Anne, Jennifer and Gail, all remained with Dr. Morrison following the transition ensuring that our patients would continue to be welcomed by many familiar faces. In January 2022 Dr. Morrison's wife, Allie, became part of the team working remotely as the office's insurance coordinator. After working for over 50 years, Gail retired at the end of August 2022. This led to Katlyn joining our team after a long and thorough search process to find someone as special and hard working as Gail. As our team and office have evolved, we have sought to preserve the values that have made us your trusted dental care provider while also adapting to changes in health care rules and regulations as they occur so that we may continue to best serve you and your family in the present and for many years to come.

Our team is very much a work family and there is never a dull moment at our office as someone is almost always laughing and sharing a story. While we take our roles and responsibilities very seriously, we definitely seek to have fun while we do it. Our team understands that coming to the dentist can cause stress and anxiety for many people. Therefore, it is our mission to provide our patients with an environment that is relaxed, welcoming and inclusive and we strive to make sure that every patient has an enjoyable experience.
